About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Depending on their current skillset, Team Members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience. The role is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours that include some nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• Experience with chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry and perform jewelry repairs to meet quality standards.
• Perform work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring and other jewelry repairs, depending on skillset.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting, depending on skillset.
• Create custom jewelry designs and pieces, including CAD/CAM design work, depending on skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
