About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. The role offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to progress from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime and varying hours that may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal overtime is required for full-time work.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
• Design and create custom jewelry as appropriate to current skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that meets or exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
• Perform tasks such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom piece creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
