About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces based on their skills. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience and high-quality custom jewelry design and repair. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is described as competitive and reflective of the jeweler’s current skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime. Hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test assessing current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom jewelry, depending on current skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform jewelry work that may include chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design.
