About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Depending on skillset, the role involves restoring jewelry, performing repairs, and designing custom jewelry. Team members are expected to provide a customer-first experience and deliver high-quality work. The organization offers training and opportunities to develop and advance jeweler skills in a promote-from-within environment. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours may vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; full-time work is 40 hours per week with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge or skills in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original beauty and perform jewelry repairs.
• Design and create custom, one-of-a-kind jewelry, depending on current skillset.
• Perform applicable bench work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
