About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Depending on current skillset, the role involves restoring jewelry, performing repairs, and designing custom, one-of-a-kind pieces while delivering a customer-first experience. The company offers training and continuous learning intended to help Jewelers develop their skills and advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Requirements

• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Work varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time work consists of a 40-hour week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original beauty.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other jewelry repairs.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
