About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level Jeweler Apprentices for its Field Design & Service Center teams. The role provides full training to develop jewelry skills and advance from Apprentice toward Bench Jeweler and, ultimately, artisan. Apprentices learn the business from the ground up while supporting customer service and administrative operations and learning basic jewelry repair.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Some knowledge of jewelry, jewelry repair, or design preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design.
• Passion and desire to learn the jeweler trade.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with customers and stores.
• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
• Learn jewelry repair basics, beginning with polishing and quality control.
• Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
