About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team at the Frisco Village location in Frisco, Texas. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces according to their current skillset. The team is dedicated to providing a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test assessing current jeweler skill level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal required overtime.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work, depending on skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
