About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skill level. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience and work that meets customers’ expectations for jewelry design and repair. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of a 40-hour week, with seasonal required overtime; hours may vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, mounting creation, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring and other jewelry repairs, as applicable to the jeweler’s skillset.
• Create custom jewelry designs and pieces, as applicable to the jeweler’s skillset.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work, as applicable to the jeweler’s skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
