About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skill level. The role is part of a promote-from-within environment with training and continuous learning opportunities to develop jeweler skills. Team members are dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience and high-quality custom jewelry design and repairs. The position is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours that may include nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime. Pay is competitive and reflective of the candidate’s current jeweler skillset and experience.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends, and seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• Experience with chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, minor ring repair, and other repairs.
• Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
• Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work as applicable to current skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience and high-quality service for custom jewelry design and repairs.
• Complete a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
