About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skill level. The role offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. A qualified bench test is used to assess the candidate’s current jeweler level. The full-time work week is 40 hours, with varying hours that may include some nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work varying hours, including some nights and weekends; seasonal overtime is required.
• A high school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
• Design and create custom jewelry according to current skill level.
• Perform tasks such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that meets or exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
