About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry depending on their skills. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continued learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflects the Jeweler’s current skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours may vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current Jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
• Design and create custom jewelry according to current skillset.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
• Perform applicable bench-jeweler tasks, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
