About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry based on their skillset. The role focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Varying hours, including some nights and weekends; full-time work consists of 40 hours per week with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom jewelry based on current skills.
Perform jewelry work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring and other jewelry repairs.
Perform wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom piece creation, and CAD/CAM design work, as applicable to skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds customer expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
