About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces according to their current skillset. The role is part of a promote-from-within environment offering jeweler training programs and continuous learning to develop skills from entry level to experienced jeweler. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and may include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

One to three years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition.
Perform jewelry repairs, including chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, minor ring repairs, and other repairs.
Create stone mountings and perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
Perform wax carving, fabrication, and casting.
Design and create custom jewelry, including CAD/CAM design work where applicable.
Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
