About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry, according to their current skillset. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers jeweler training programs and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on jeweler skillset and experience. The position is located at Dana Park in Mesa, Arizona.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Full-time schedule is 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
Jeweler certification classes and continuous learning are available to develop and enhance bench skills.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition through repair and related bench work.
Design and create custom jewelry according to skillset.
Provide a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
