About The Position
The Bell Person is responsible for providing excellent guest service by assisting with luggage, explaining hotel amenities, and ensuring a positive arrival and departure experience. This role involves significant guest interaction, handling guest requests, and maintaining the appearance and functionality of the bellstand area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be able to speak plainly and comfortably to guest
- Able to speak clearly over the phone
- Must be able to learn lay-out of the hotel and location of all amenities
- Drivers license required
Nice To Haves
- Prior hotel experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Smile, greet and welcome guest
- Load and unload luggage from bell cart
- Accompany guest to room
- Explain hotel amenities to guest
- Answer bellstand telephone
- Make room deliveries when necessary
- Obtain transportation for guest
- Maintain room key control
- Shoe Shine and pickup/delivery
