About The Position

The Bell Attendant assists guests with luggage during arrival and departure, makes deliveries to and pickups from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels, and provides shoeshine service. The role greets and escorts guests, responds professionally to requests and inquiries, and may run errands requiring local travel off hotel property. The position is on call, with eight-hour shifts scheduled on days and at times that may vary based on need.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and escort them to their rooms.
Deliver guests’ luggage to their rooms upon check-in and collect luggage upon departure, moving it to storage or the Front Drive.
Maintain records of luggage deliveries and pickups.
Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests when possible, resolve complaints, and answer inquiries about hotel services, operating hours, personnel, events, and directions.
Pick up guests’ shoes from their rooms, clean and polish them, and return them.
Collect requests for morning newspapers, prepare the newspapers, and deliver them in a timely manner.
Greet guests passing through the lobby and offer assistance.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with coworkers and supervisors.
Run errands for guests and the hotel, including errands requiring local travel off hotel property.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage room.
Assist guests at the Concierge Desk.
Assist Door Staff and Valet Parking Staff when needed, including during absences or periods of heavy volume.
