About The Position

The Bell Attendant assists guests with luggage during arrival and departure, delivers items to and picks them up from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels, and provides shoe-shining service. The role also involves greeting and escorting guests, responding professionally to guest requests and inquiries, and supporting lobby and luggage-storage operations. This is an on-call position with eight-hour shifts; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and escort them to their rooms.
Deliver luggage to guest rooms upon check-in and pick it up upon departure, moving it to storage or the Front Drive.
Maintain proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.
Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests when possible, resolve complaints, and answer inquiries about hotel services, operating hours, personnel, events, and directions.
Provide shoe-shining service by collecting shoes from guest rooms, cleaning and polishing them, and returning them to guests.
Collect requests for morning newspapers, prepare the newspapers, and deliver them promptly.
Greet guests passing through the lobby and offer assistance.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Run errands for guests and the hotel, which may require local travel off hotel property.
Maintain cleanliness in the lobby and luggage-storage room.
Assist guests at the Concierge Desk.
Assist Door Staff and Valet Parking Staff when they are absent or experiencing heavy volume.
