About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the overnight shift at Avenues Recovery Center at Bucks. The center is a community-based, residential-style outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program offering partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. It partners exclusively with Crosswalk Sober Living, where clients can receive treatment while residing in sober living homes with 24/7 supervision and care. BHTs help manage daily residential operations, support and train the BHT team, monitor client engagement and morale, and maintain a warm, positive recovery environment while ensuring compliance with Avenues policies and procedures. They escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in operational duties and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale and maintain a warm, positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
