About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the day shift at its inpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role supports daily residential operations and helps maintain a warm, positive recovery environment. Technicians train and support the BHT team, oversee client engagement and morale, ensure compliance with Avenues rules and procedures, and escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale and maintain a warm, positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
