About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the overnight third shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.) at its inpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role supports daily residential operations and client care in an addiction-treatment setting, helping maintain a positive recovery environment and ensuring that clients and staff follow Avenues policies and procedures. The position also includes training and supporting the BHT team and escalating concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
