About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the day shift (7 a.m.–3 p.m.) at its inpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role supports daily residential operations and client care in an addiction-treatment setting, helping maintain a positive recovery environment. Avenues operates a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and provides detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.

• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the Behavioral Health Technician team in its operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and Behavioral Health Technicians comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
