About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at its Prince Frederick location. The role provides day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams and helps create a safe, welcoming, and recovery-focused environment for clients at a 93-bed residential facility offering detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Technicians monitor clients, support facility operations, document and escalate incidents, and complete administrative tasks.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• For candidates in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phones.
• Engage with clients and build rapport to create a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce Avenues policies to help ensure the safety of clients and staff.
• Record and promptly escalate critical communications and incidents.
• Complete administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.
