About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts at its detox and residential treatment facility in South Bend, Indiana. The role supports daily residential operations, trains and supports the BHT team, helps maintain client engagement and a positive recovery environment, and ensures clients and staff follow Avenues policies and procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license and CPR certification are preferred. Applicants in recovery must have at least one year of sustained sobriety.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in operational duties and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale and maintain a warm, positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
