About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for its facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role provides day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams and helps maintain a safe, welcoming recovery environment for clients. Technicians engage with clients, monitor their wellbeing, uphold facility policies, communicate critical incidents, and complete administrative and shift-related duties.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
• For applicants in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phones.
• Engage with clients and build rapport to create a warm, accepting recovery environment.
• Monitor clients and enforce Avenues policies to support the safety of clients and staff.
• Record and promptly escalate critical communications and incidents.
• Complete administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory, meetings, and office support.
