About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for the third shift (11 p.m.–7 a.m.) at its inpatient rehabilitation center in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role supports daily residential operations and client care in an addiction-treatment setting, helps train and support the BHT team, and contributes to a warm, positive recovery environment. The position also involves enforcing Avenues’ rules, policies, and procedures and escalating concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.
• If in recovery, at least one year of sustained sobriety is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the BHT team in its operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale while maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and BHTs comply with Avenues’ rules, policies, and procedures.
