About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people who have experienced extreme trauma. Nurses work with a multidisciplinary team that includes mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists to support client outcomes. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 24 hours per week, with no weekends. The listed hourly rates are $23–$25 for LPNs and $30.77–$34.13 for RNs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental, and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients about pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Perform case management duties, including coordinating community services.
• Help clients build skills in emotion, stress, and anger management, communication, and interpersonal relationships.
