Full-Time Beauty Lead Advisor - Sephora

About The Position

As Beauty Lead Advisor, you will drive sales through an authentic passion for beauty and engage clients by identifying their needs with a consultative approach. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands, execute merchandise sets, replenishment, and visual standards according to Sephora at Kohl’s standards, and ensure an excellent overall client experience. The role requires early-morning availability and flexibility, including availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also complete required training, support department operations and inventory management, and carry out other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence clearly and concisely.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to perform the role’s accountabilities and satisfactorily complete company training programs.
Ability to comply with dress-code requirements.
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
Ability to operate and communicate on multiple-frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet company scheduling requirements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift, at least 8 hours.
Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
Ability to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Build strong client loyalty by identifying client needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upselling.
Develop and expand knowledge of the beauty industry.
Provide product and beauty-trend knowledge to clients.
Demonstrate products and product application to inspire clients.
Understand and execute sales plans to support and meet goals.
Execute and maintain Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards, including merchandise sets, tester maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene.
Replenish the sales floor promptly and consistently.
Complete required training to expand knowledge.
Support omni-processing within the department.
Support inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, inventory counts, and price changes.
Act with integrity and honesty and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture.
Use sound judgment, involve appropriate partners when needed, and support safety and shortage-reduction programs.
Complete multiple tasks within established timeframes and follow company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Maintain adherence to company safety policies and respond proactively to direction from leaders and other company personnel.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
