Requirements

Experience leading a BDR or SDR team with a track record of hitting numbers, closing pipeline, and promoting reps.
Strong performance management skills, including setting a high bar, providing clear feedback, and building development plans.
Passion for developing people and building a strong team bench.
Experience building and using AI tools, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
A strong understanding of your own business and the ability to analyze why things work.
Previous experience as a top-performing sales representative.
Experience working at a company selling technical products to engineering teams, ideally in infrastructure, dev tools, observability, or data platforms.
Willingness to build something new rather than inherit an existing structure.
Willingness to work from our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

Hire, train, and develop BDRs.
Design and implement a comprehensive in-house training program for BDRs.
Act as the ears and voice at the top of the funnel, relaying trends, objections, and pushback to sales, marketing, and product teams.
Hold the team accountable for follow-up and serve as marketing's point of contact for campaigns and events.
Own the pipeline number for the BDR team, focusing on reaching potential champions within the ICP.
Rethink the BDR function in the age of AI, identifying and implementing new plays and strategies.
Find plays that outperform, whether AI-driven or creative, and integrate them into team workflows.
