About The Position

Bettenhausen Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Ram of Tinley Park is hiring experienced Service BDC Representatives to join its service team. This role supports the service and parts departments by handling customer calls, scheduling and tracking appointments, following up with customers, and assisting with service-related information. Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills.
• Friendly and enthusiastic disposition and a positive attitude.
• Ability to speak articulately.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of prior experience working within an automotive dealership.

Nice To Haves

• Call center experience.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls for the service and parts departments and schedule appointments based on customers’ service or parts needs.
• Accurately track service and parts appointments using Reynolds & Reynolds, MS Excel, and Google Docs.
• Follow up with service customers and confirm appointments to help ensure they arrive at their scheduled times.
• Assist service customers with recall information, loaner vehicle coordination, and parts availability.
• Follow up with customers who did not answer service surveys, using information provided by FIAT Chrysler Automobiles to support high customer service scores.
• Call parts customers to notify them that their parts are ready for pickup and schedule service appointments.
