About The Position

New Country Motor Car Group is hiring a BDC Outbound Call Center Agent for its West Palm Beach Customer Service Call Center. The position includes on-the-job training. The agent promotes a top-notch customer experience and works with the BDC Manager to schedule service appointments. The role requires completing at least 150 outbound calls per day, with a minimum daily appointment expectation of 18. Candidates with prior outbound call center experience are preferred but it is not required. Automotive experience is helpful but not required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and pricing.
• Be able to interpret and follow instructions shared in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
• Have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Have strong customer service skills and motivation to succeed.
• Be able to multitask.
• Be able to communicate persuasively with customers to set appointments.
• Have excellent computer skills.
• Have an excellent phone presence.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Work a five-day schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nice To Haves

• Prior call center experience making outbound calls is preferred but not required.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and seek out opportunities to deliver a top-notch customer experience.
• Work closely with the BDC Manager to schedule service appointments.
• Complete a minimum of 150 outbound phone calls per day.
• Meet a minimum daily appointment expectation of 18.
• Stay informed about service updates, recalls, and service requirements.
• Maintain a business casual appearance.
