Bay Host (Server)
About The Position
The Bay Host welcomes Players to their bays with energy and enthusiasm, learns about the purpose of their visit, and introduces them to Topgolf’s offerings. The role recommends food, beverages, and gaming options suited to each visit, using thoughtful suggestive selling to enhance the Player experience and drive sales. Bay Hosts provide food and beverage recommendations, take orders quickly and accurately, and keep bay areas clean and organized by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and maintaining a welcoming space. They stay readily available with a strong T-line presence and work seamlessly with other Playmakers to set up bays, resolve concerns, and deliver a smooth, memorable experience. The position follows safety and sanitation standards and helps keep bays clean and safe. Bay Hosts are expected to embody Topgolf’s values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring. This active role involves lifting items up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and standing for most of the shift, as well as maintaining pace in a high-volume environment. Candidates must be of legal age to serve alcohol where required by law.
Requirements
- Positive attitude.
- One-team mentality and ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong focus on the Player experience.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a busy, high-volume environment.
- Previous experience serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a restaurant, hospitality, or entertainment setting.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol where required by law.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, including bending, stooping, and carrying.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift and perform varied physical tasks.
