About The Position

AAA Tidewater is hiring full-time Battery Service Technicians (also referred to as Battery Service Drivers) to provide roadside assistance to AAA members. The position offers on-the-job training to prepare technicians to handle a variety of roadside service needs. Technicians operate light service vehicles and provide services such as battery replacement and diagnostics, lockouts, and tire changes. The role involves working independently on service calls and offers flexible schedules, no on-call hours, and opportunities for career growth. Necessary equipment is provided, and competitive bonus and incentive programs can increase overall earnings above the hourly wage. The starting hourly rate is $15.00. After completing the training program, full-time technicians who successfully meet goals earn an average of $44,900–$54,900 annually. Employment offers are conditional on favorable drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check results.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
A strong commitment to customer service and a desire to assist and help others.
Pass a drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record check as conditions of employment.
