About The Position

The Shop Battery Technician in TW Anaheim is responsible for watering, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining electric batteries and battery chargers for forklifts in a timely and efficient manner while providing outstanding customer service. The role requires honesty, dependability, time management, and critical decision-making abilities.

Requirements

• Honesty, dependability, time management, and critical decision-making abilities.
• Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack.
• Experience with shop and hand tools.
• Forklift experience and/or certification.
• Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions about repairs that need to be performed.
• Critical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to deal with difficult situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask between service calls.
• Attention to detail when conducting administrative tasks and completing paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Water, clean, repair, and maintain electric batteries and battery chargers for forklifts.
• Complete work in a timely and efficient manner while providing outstanding customer service.
• Ensure work orders are properly filled out.
• Communicate relevant information intelligently and professionally to the proper contact at the customer's location to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain outstanding communication with Service and Management about customer-related issues.
• Maintain and account for all company-assigned property.
• Practice safety and good housekeeping.
• Represent Total Warehouse professionally in accordance with company standards.
