About The Position

The Shop Battery Technician in TW Anaheim is responsible for watering, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining electric batteries and battery chargers for forklifts in a timely and efficient manner while providing outstanding customer service. The role requires honesty, dependability, time management, and sound critical decision-making. The technician represents Total Warehouse professionally, follows company standards, maintains safety and housekeeping practices, and uses provided PPE.

Requirements

Experience with shop and hand tools.
Forklift experience and/or certification.
Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack.
Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions about repairs needed.
Critical thinking, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask between service calls.
Attention to detail when completing administrative tasks and paperwork.
Honesty, dependability, and time-management ability.
Ability to communicate professionally and maintain a positive attitude in difficult situations.

Responsibilities

Water, clean, repair, and maintain electric forklift batteries and battery chargers in a timely and efficient manner.
Properly complete work orders.
Communicate information intelligently and professionally to the appropriate customer contact to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain outstanding communication with Service and Management regarding customer-related issues.
Maintain and account for all company-assigned property.
Operate a forklift or pallet jack as needed.
Follow safety and good housekeeping practices, and use required PPE.
Represent Total Warehouse professionally in accordance with company standards.
Identify repair needs by defining problems and drawing valid conclusions.
Prioritize and multitask between service calls.
Complete administrative tasks and paperwork with attention to detail.
Handle difficult situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
