Battery Service Technician
About The Position
AAA Tidewater is seeking full-time Battery Service Technicians (also referred to as Battery Service Drivers) to provide roadside assistance to AAA members. The role involves operating light service vehicles and responding to service calls, including battery replacement and diagnostics, lockouts, tire changes, and other roadside problems. On-the-job training is provided, and no prior experience is required. Technicians work independently, with flexible schedules and no on-call hours. The role offers hourly pay starting at $15.00; after completing the training program, full-time technicians who meet goals earn an average of $44,900–$54,900 annually, with bonus and incentive programs offering opportunities to increase earnings above the hourly wage.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong commitment to customer service and a desire to assist and help others.
- Employment offers are conditional on favorable drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check results.
