Battery Service Technician (Road Technician)
About The Position
Carolina Industrial Products is hiring a full-time Battery Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field. The technician represents the company to its customers, keeps customers informed about work and additional costs, and coordinates with team members to provide quality service. The company provides training to the right candidate; prior electrical and forklift experience is a plus but not required. Starting pay is $22–$28 per hour, with potential increases and bonuses. The role includes access to a company service truck and uniforms.
Requirements
- Mechanical or electrical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to follow safety protocols.
