About The Position

Bobcat - GDN is seeking a Road Service Technician to support customer relations and represent the company through equipment service. The role focuses on helping customers with a can-do attitude and exceeding their expectations. The technician services compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line, and works with the Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams. The position is full-time, pays $26 per hour, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. A CDL is required.

Requirements

• CDL Class A license.
• At least 5 years of experience in heavy equipment or equipment service operations, such as skid steers and excavators.
• Strong mechanical background, including diagnostic, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, and energetic, with the ability to stay composed under pressure from multiple ongoing projects.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Must complete pre-employment drug screening and background check and provide proof of employment eligibility (E-Verify).

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line.
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls.
• Perform welding.
• Work effectively with the Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams and all levels of the company.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
