Bath Remodeling Specialist - W2, Paid Training, Full-Time!
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a full-time Bath Remodeling Specialist for its Virginia Beach team. The role contributes to the company’s mission of delivering five-star shower installation and bath remodeling experiences. The specialist reports directly to the Installation Manager and works closely with Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations professionals. The position involves gathering and loading materials at the warehouse, traveling to customers’ homes, completing controlled demolition of bathtub and shower areas, installing new bathtubs or shower pans and acrylic wall surrounds, and updating plumbing as needed. The specialist is also responsible for treating customers and their homes with care, cleaning up after installations, obtaining required signed documents and payment, and returning to the warehouse. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 a.m.; end times may vary. The role is based in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Valid driver’s license.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Meet at the warehouse at 6:30 a.m., gather materials, and load company trucks.
- Drive to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Perform controlled demolition of bathtub and shower areas.
- Install new bathtubs or shower pans and acrylic wall surrounds.
- Update plumbing as needed.
- Protect customers’ homes and clean up carefully after installation.
- Obtain necessary signed documents and payment from customers.
- Return to the warehouse.
