Bath Remodeling Specialist - W2, Paid Training, Full-Time!
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring a Bath Remodeler for its Chesapeake, Virginia team. The role supports the company’s mission of delivering five-star shower installation and bath remodeling experiences. The specialist reports directly to the Installation Manager and works closely with Lead Installers, Trainers, and Warehouse/Operations professionals. The position is full-time, year-round W2 employment. Work begins at the warehouse at 6:30 a.m.; standard hours are Monday through Friday, with end times that may vary. Employees gather and load materials, travel to customers’ homes in company vehicles, complete bathtub and shower-area demolition and installation, update plumbing as needed, clean the work area, collect required customer signatures and payment, and return to the warehouse. The company provides paid training, tools and equipment, a vehicle, gas, and drive time coverage. Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Valid driver’s license.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Meet at the warehouse at 6:30 a.m., gather materials, and load company trucks.
- Drive to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Complete controlled demolition of the bathtub or shower area.
- Install a new bathtub or shower pan and acrylic wall surround, updating plumbing as needed.
- Take care of customers’ homes and thoroughly clean up after installation.
- Obtain necessary signed documents and payment from the customer, then return to the warehouse.
