About The Position

The Bartender at Latitude Restaurant and Flo Bar at Black Desert Resort prepares and serves beverages, provides exceptional guest service, and helps create an engaging atmosphere. The role supports the main restaurant bar, Flo Bar, and seasonal poolside service, maintaining consistent quality and prompt, welcoming service in indoor and outdoor settings. The position is year-round and full-time.

Requirements

• Meet legal age requirements for alcohol service.
• Possess any required state or local certifications.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume or upscale restaurant or resort.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and wine and beer offerings.
• Comfort working in indoor and outdoor environments, including poolside.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain composure in fast-paced service situations.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at Latitude Restaurant and Flo Bar.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and timely service to bar guests and poolside patrons.
• Assist with poolside service operations, including delivering drinks to lounge areas and outdoor seating.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of indoor and outdoor bars.
• Prepare garnishes and use proper glassware and standard recipes to ensure consistency.
• Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service protocols.
• Take food and beverage orders when needed and accurately enter them into the POS system.
• Remain aware of guest preferences and engage in genuine hospitality and conversation.
• Support setup and breakdown of bar service areas, including for private or resort events.
• Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support seamless service.
• Attend mandatory orientations and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
