Bartender – Latitude - Full-Time
About The Position
The Bartender at Latitude Restaurant & Flo Bar at Black Desert Resort prepares and serves beverages, provides exceptional guest service, and helps create a welcoming atmosphere. The role supports the main restaurant bar, Flo Bar, and seasonal poolside service, maintaining consistent quality and prompt service in indoor and outdoor settings. The position is onsite, year-round, and full-time, with pay of $10.00 per hour plus tips. Compensation decisions may vary based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant or resort.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, classic cocktails, and wine and beer offerings.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including poolside.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain composure in fast-paced service situations.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service and possess any required state or local certifications.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages at Latitude Restaurant and Flo Bar.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and timely service to bar guests and poolside patrons.
- Assist with poolside operations, including delivering drinks to lounge areas and outdoor seating.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of indoor and outdoor bars.
- Prepare garnishes and use proper glassware and standard recipes to ensure consistency.
- Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service protocols.
- Take food and beverage orders as needed and enter them accurately into the POS system.
- Stay aware of guest preferences and engage in genuine hospitality and conversation.
- Support setup and breakdown of bar service areas, including for private or resort events.
- Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support seamless service.
- Attend mandatory orientations and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
