About The Position

The Bartender drives retail sales and extends hospitality through prompt, courteous service to guests. The role provides an exceptional guest experience, supports guest satisfaction and retention, and delivers personalized service. The Bartender must know and suggestively sell the menu, understand and demonstrate operational standards, policies, and procedures, recognize guests, maintain service standards, serve food and beverages prepared to standard, and follow Health Department and alcohol regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside the workplace.
• Qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Attain a Non-Gaming Card.
• Hold a valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Hold a valid Health Card.
• Read and interpret English-language documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; communicate verbally in English, with written English skills potentially required.
• Apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, as specified in the physical demands.

Nice To Haves

• 2 to 3 years of bartending experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume tavern.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and take responsibility for overall guest satisfaction.
• Focus on the guest experience and provide personalized service tailored to guests' needs.
• Ensure food and beverages are prepared to standard before serving them.
• Meet Health Department and alcohol regulations and maintain required standards.
• Follow department policies for pouring and serving alcohol.
• Assist team members when needed.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned within the scope of the job description.
