About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group and the Mining Exchange Hotel are seeking a dynamic, service-oriented part-time Bartender. The role is part of a service-focused hospitality team committed to respectful, authentic service and meeting the needs of guests and team members. The position involves taking guest food orders, monitoring food delivery and presentation, communicating drink orders to the bartender, garnishing drinks, and assisting with table bussing. Flexible hours and shifts may be required.

Requirements

Minimum high school education.
At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Knowledge of alcohol-serving practices and standards.

Nice To Haves

Food safety certification preferred.
Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct recipients and are properly prepared and presented, and that the buffet is appealing.
Provide the bartender with drink orders.
Garnish drinks.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
