About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group and the Mining Exchange Hotel are seeking a service-oriented, on-call Banquet Bartender. The role supports banquet events by preparing the bar, serving beverages professionally, and returning beverage equipment and inventory to storage after each function. The position is part of a hospitality organization that emphasizes respectful, authentic service and an inclusive, employee-focused workplace.

Requirements

At least a high school education.
A minimum of three years of experience in a bartending role.
Thorough knowledge of alcohol-serving practices and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Bartending certification preferred.
Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Read and understand all particulars of banquet event orders.
Collect the equipment, beverages, and other items needed to set up the designated area.
Polish glassware and prepare required bar condiments.
Provide beverage service to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
After each function, remove inventory and beverage equipment and return them to the proper storage areas.
Retrieve and store bar glassware in the proper location.
Communicate challenges or guest complaints.
Perform other duties as assigned.
