About The Position

The Bartender, Residences supports beverage service with a primary focus on accurate drink preparation, efficiency, and adherence to established standards. The role prepares cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits while maintaining a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar. It is based at Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, which includes private residences, a hotel, dining outlets, and resort amenities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of bartending experience; experience in a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and personal presentation skills.
• Guest-focused mentality and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
• Confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to requests.
• Ability to stand continuously for 8 or more hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fluency in English.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Bartending experience in a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment.
• Working knowledge of the Micros POS system.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks, including their origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain working knowledge of the wine list, classic cocktail recipes, and specialty drinks.
• Provide quick and efficient beverage service, pouring and mixing according to established recipes and following state and city alcohol laws and Four Seasons standards of service and sequence of service.
• Confirm guest orders from servers, including special needs or requests, using the resort’s point-of-sale system; check completed orders against the original order, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions.
• Respond courteously and efficiently to requests, guest concerns, and requests for assistance.
• Assist with drink development, promotions and special events, product inventory, and log entries for voids and spillage; cut and prepare fruit and other beverage garnishments and perform related tasks.
• Follow bar policies and procedures and daily checklists.
• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient guest service, greeting each guest promptly and courteously with eye contact and a smile.
