About The Position

The Bartender prepares the bar for regular service and special events, maintains the bar while serving guests, and handles restocking and cleanup. The role involves responsibly preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and providing guests with positive service at Sprowls Horizon Sports Park.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available on weekends and nights, as well as some weekdays.
• Must pass an alcohol serving course within 60 days after hire.
• Ability to communicate with patrons in a positive, friendly manner.
• Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience with the general public is preferred.
• Prior bartending and food experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
• Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Keep bar and lounge areas clean and well presented.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
