About The Position
The Bartender prepares the bar for regular service and special events, maintains the bar during service while serving guests, and handles restocking and cleanup. The role involves responsibly preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and providing service to guests at Woodman's Sports & Convention Center in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons.
- Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be available on weekends and nights, as well as some weekdays.
- Must pass an alcohol-serving course within 60 days after hire.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- One year of customer service experience with the general public is preferred.
- Prior bartending and food experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Ensure bar and lounge areas are clean and well presented.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
