About The Position

As a Bartender/Server, you will deliver exceptional service to residents by preparing and serving beverages with professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail. You will foster a welcoming and engaging environment, build meaningful connections with residents, and contribute to an elevated dining experience. Working closely with the Dining Room Manager and team, you will help ensure the bar operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with community standards. The position is located at Park Terrace and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pay is $19.50–$22 per hour, depending on experience. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory completion of the pre-employment process, which may include drug screening, a job-related physical examination, TB screening, a background check, and vaccinations or immunizations required by applicable regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of bartending experience.
Meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, tools, and beverage preparation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Professional appearance and a positive, engaging demeanor.

Responsibilities

Welcome residents and create a warm, inviting bar experience.
Take beverage orders, make recommendations, and personalize service based on resident preferences.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including crafting and garnishing cocktails.
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and new beverage options.
Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Process transactions accurately and ensure proper billing.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
Contribute to menu development by creating and refining cocktail offerings.
Support overall dining operations and assist team members as needed.
Identify opportunities to enhance resident satisfaction and exceed expectations.
Promptly report safety concerns, maintenance needs, or operational issues.
Demonstrate the organization’s Principles, Values, and Beliefs in all interactions.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and team members.
