About The Position
The Caldwell, a Southern-inspired restaurant and bar located inside The Buxton in Fort Collins, is seeking an enthusiastic, personable, and service-driven Bartender / Server. The role combines serving guests and bartending to create an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will connect with guests and deliver attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork. The Caldwell features live music, craft cocktails, and a curated whiskey program, and emphasizes making guests feel welcome and valued.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Develop knowledge of the restaurant's menu, signature cocktails, and curated whiskey selection.
- Make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations and suggest pairings.
- Monitor guest needs and proactively offer refills and assistance.
- Enter orders correctly and communicate special requests and allergies to appropriate team members.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked bar and dining areas.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and daily cleaning checklists.
- Stay informed about upcoming live music, events, specials, and restaurant programming.
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Help create an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to return.
