About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Barista for Hotel Granada. The role prepares and serves hot and cold beverages and prepared foods, assists customers with product information and payments, and maintains stocked, clean, and sanitary service and seating areas. The Barista also checks equipment temperatures, stocks supplies or retail products, and may help with inventory, ordering, or receiving products. Flexible hours and shifts may be required. The position prefers a minimum of a high school education. Candidates should be team players who can multitask, communicate effectively, exceed guest and team expectations, use available equipment such as cash registers and calculators, and perform basic math for making change and issuing refunds. The hiring process may include interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, blended coffee, and tea, customizing orders as requested.
Describe product details to customers.
Receive and process customer payments.
Serve prepared foods and baked goods, including sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, and bagels.
Keep customer service stations stocked with paper products and beverage-preparation items.
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes, work areas, service areas, and seating areas.
Check freezer, refrigerator, and heating-equipment temperatures routinely to ensure proper functioning.
Stock supplies or retail products and, as directed, help inventory, order, or receive products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
